We have to say - it was an absolute pleasure working with Nick and even though house hunt is a rather difficult and involving process, he made it a very easy, seamless and stress-free experience for us. Nick won our trust and we were rest assured that we were in good hands. He listened to all our requirements, brainstormed with us to help us get more clarity and guided us really well enabling us to see the pros and cons of each home but at the same time giving us our space and time to think through well. He was very punctual, easily reachable and highly organized. He always did his homework in advance being well prepared for the tours and we could see all the hard work he did in background before every tour gathering all the relevant information and doing an amazing analysis. With his attention to details, he was able to identify and highlight important aspects of the homes we toured helping us figure out additional hidden costs which were otherwise easy to miss. Apart from being very personable, what stood out was Nick’s remarkable knowledge about the real estate trends and various zip codes within the Bay Area which came in very handy while shortlisting the houses and helped us to quickly narrow down to the locations that best worked for us. In addition Nick was very experienced and well versed with the entire house buying process, making it extremely simple for us to understand its complexity and nuances. He collaborated very well with the seller’s agents and other people involved in the process such as the lenders, escrow team etc helping us to close the escrow in a really short time. In addition, what surprised us was that he not only had a great deal of knowledge about the real estate but also about the home construction and renovation. He has an acute sense of design and he really helped us figure out how we could transform a space we didn’t like giving us a whole lot of new perspective. Things such as giving us our space as we entered a home for a tour, making us feel comfortable enabling us to have an honest discussions, being extremely patient through the entire process even though we rejected a good number of homes, really helped us to not feel rushed into a decision as important as this. As a result at the end we were completely convinced and beyond doubt happy with our final choice. Last but not the least, Nick continued to be a part of our journey even as we closed the formalities. He spent hours with us and our contractors, brainstorming on various ideas on how to best renovate the home. Nick clearly goes beyond and it’s easy to see he really cares, building a solid relationship. A big thanks to him for being a part of such an important journey for us and the finding the home for us. I also like his pricing strategy. We took his suggestion to place price lower than the market (since market already over the peak which was spring of 2018, and market in general just get 1 or 2 offers) and staging the house beautifully. He put pre-sale flies to our neighborhood and posted the coming soon poster. We will able to sell our house at the highest price in our community before even we officially open house. I would strong recommend Nick Meyer. We are really happy that we made a right choice.

Including which schools are good, which day cares are good, what shopping area is near what house. - He also had an eye for subtle details which we would miss, like "that house is next to a high tension power line", "that house is too close to a train track", "This house faces is adjacent to a busy street" etc. - As market started to show signs of slowdown, he first observed that early, and later tempered his aggressiveness accordingly, to help us put in a less aggressive offer - After the offer was accepted and while we waited for closing, he would still be there with us at the house several times to show to multiple contractors (for remodels) including few of his own recommendations. And he would always get there before us, and worked flexibly around our schedules. - He spent a lot of time brainstorming with us the different ideas we could use to plan our remodel. We continue to consult him even now on phone for our homes ongoing remodel. In a nutshell, we are very glad we ran into him and took a leap of faith. We would recommend him as your agent with no doubts.
